How fast can we start?
Usually within a day. We import your staff list, set your hours, holidays and leave rules, and train your admins in an hour.
Do our staff need to install anything?
No. AlftekOne runs in any phone or computer browser. Staff can add it to their home screen if they like.
Can we try it first?
Yes. In a 20-minute live demo we walk you through a sample company of 115 people, and early companies can run a 14-day pilot with up to 10 of their own people.
Who sets it up?
We do, with you. You send the staff list and your rules; we configure everything and walk your admins through it.
Can we keep our current payroll system?
Yes. Monthly reports export to Excel and CSV for any payroll system. In Qatar, the HRMS edition can also run payroll and write the WPS file.
How do you know people are really at the office?
Each clock-in is checked against your office internet address. It confirms the connection came from the office network; it can’t prove a person was physically there, and we say so plainly.
Does it work for site and remote workers?
Yes. Site crews can clock in by work site location (in pilot). Remote staff can be exempted one by one, with every exemption recorded.
Do we need fingerprint or face machines?
No. People clock in from their own phone or computer. We store no fingerprints or face data.
What if someone forgets to clock out?
Alfie knocks five minutes before the day ends. Missed clock-outs are flagged, and an admin corrects them with a reason that is kept forever.
Which languages does it speak?
English, and on employee screens Arabic, French, German and Spanish too.
Is our data separate from other companies?
Every company gets its own private database, in Asia-Pacific, the EU or North America. No company’s data ever shares a database with another’s.
Do you track people’s location?
No. Only site crews, and only if you switch it on: their phone sends one reading when they tap Clock in or Clock out. Nothing is read in between.
Who can see what?
Employees see their own records. Managers see their team. Admins see the company. Every correction and setting change is in an audit log nobody can edit.
Can we take our data out?
Any time. Reports export to Excel and CSV, and on request we hand over a full copy of your database.
Is there a data processing agreement?
Yes. We sign a DPA with every customer, and keep a list of the services that process data for us.
How is the price worked out?
A monthly platform fee covers your first people, then a small price for each extra person, lower above 250. Use the calculator on the pricing page for your exact figure.
Do you charge for setup?
No. Guided setup is free.
Can we pay monthly?
Yes, at 20% more than yearly billing.
Which currencies do you bill in?
QAR, AED, SAR, INR, USD, CAD, GBP, EUR, AUD and NZD, plus local tax where it applies.
